i have a scooter bought in 2001 new off road 2002 never declared sorn garaged ever since?

A scooter line / manufacturer that is poised for a favorable 2009 is Tank scooters. While they are far from the largest or most popular motor scooter line, they are small enough to be nimble, and have adopted lean manufacturing and management principles. So while Tank scooters might not make the most money in 2009, they should weather the economic storm better than most. Tank scooters are not available from the manufacturer -- so you'll need to find a local dealer or visit our partner outlet store to find a good preowned Tank scooter.

can i get it back on the road never had a tax reminder off the dvla what do i do and will it cost me .

If its NEVER been taxed, then they may not fine you.

the sorn thing came into effect as of Jan 31st 1998, so vehicles that were not taxed before that date and were never taxed again after that date, dont have to be sorn. I know as i had a letter from DVLA stating this fact.

If it was taxed, expect a fine , which could be more than £80, as they may fine you for each year you didnt sorn it.

The DVLA move in mysterious ways. I took a car off the road and sent in a SCORN . The car was up on blocks in my garage. I didn't think anything of the fact that I didn't get an acknowledgement for the SCORN ( because they recon they hadn't received it ). But then 8 months down the line I got a £80 fine through the letter box for owning an unlicensed vehicle. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be honest.
